Melissah Danger teaches our WILD FLORISTRY WORKSHOP as well as our BOTANICAL (FLORISTRY) INSTALLATION WORKSHOP. She is a florist and botanical designer at her own business DELICATE DANGERS.

What do you do at PYHII and (what do you love about it)?

I teach the wild floristry, Kokodama, flower crown and Terrarium making workshops at PHYII. I also pop in for coffee to get inspired and generally hang around. I am the floral designer for any events PHYII puts on, and collaborating as part of the Enquiring Minds team at present. I love the energy, community and ethics of PHYII, also of Big Bang studios in general. There is always something going on, something inspiring happening or just good old conversation.

What do you do when you’re not at PYHII?

When not at PHYII I am busy running Delicate Dangers, my Floral Design business, freelancing for other amazing Floral Design companies Floretta and Juliet Louise. I am also a qualified Holographic Kinetics practitioner so you will find me in the clinic healing trauma or making up batches of Bush Flower essences. On my down time I am Pole dancing, perfecting that combo upside down, getting my hands dirty gardening and being Mum to my beautiful 9 year whippet Lady Fem.

What are your greatest pleasures? What do you do for kicks?

My greatest pleasure is Lady Fem, she totally lights up my life, also as mentioned above Pole dancing, perfecting that trick or buying new heels and always striving to get stronger, fitter, better at the latest move or combo, sweating it up the Sauna brings me great joy and detox. Searching for rare or unusual plants to add to the collection.

What are you listening to / watching / following that makes you light up?

I am currently devouring any podcasts, articles or documentaries relating to Trauma and the human condition, Epigenetics, Holographic Kinetics and Indigenous Australians. listening to the new Marion Hill and A.B. Original . Following on Instagram @HeidiCoker my Hero pole dancer at present, @Onesongpereveryday, Zak one of my friend has challenged himself to sing one song everyday for the rest of his life and @Joostbakker, what an inspiring human.
