What do you do at PYHII and (what do you love about it)?
I teach a range of textile art workshops at Put Your Heart Into It that include stamp making, weave a wall hanging, macrame and basket making. I also help out with admin, marketing and bookings during our busy periods.
I love working in an environment that values reducing waste, social change and creating a warm welcoming environment for relaxing and learning. Also bouncing ideas off the clever and fabulous director Laura isn't bad!
What do you do when you’re not at PYHII?
When I am not teaching at PYHII, I am busy with my hands making and expanding my creative practice through my small business Be Kind Textiles.
What are your greatest pleasures? What do you do for kicks?
Gardening is my biggest love after textiles. I also love watching David Attenborough documentaries while crafting. Oh, and I cant turn down a skillfully made coffee!
What are you listening to / watching / following that makes you light up?
At the moment I am reading The Creative Habit by Tywla Tharp, amazing book I never want to stop reading. I am also a little obsessed with Louis Theroux, Zefrank, Amanda Palmer and Michael Luenig.
